The Opportunity.The emerging field of sustainability science provides an excellent opportunity to explore these questions from a quantitative and qualitative perspective. We are seeking new Masters and PhD students from social and natural science backgrounds who would be interested in researching within the areas of our research goals.

Our Research.Our research has been published in many leading journals including Climate Research, Journal of Applied Ecology, Rural Society, and the Journal of Environmental Planning and Management. Research group graduates and alumni include 3 Honors Bachelors students, 6 Masters students, and 1 post-doctoral fellow. Currently, the research groups hosts, 7 Masters students and 1 PhD student.
