Guidelines have been proposed for the reporting of expert knowledge methods. Most published studies in applied ecological disciplines only provide rudimentary reporting of expert knowledge methods making it difficult to confirm whether studies are reasonably unbiased and reliable. The North American Congress for Conservation Biology (NACCB 2018) took place this week in Toronto. NRCPM was there with 3 presentations:
1. Monika Oviedo presented a poster on the Toronto ravine system and park user perceptions. 2. Rachael Edwards and Zoe Milligan presented a talk on municipal natural asset management. 3. Michael Drescher presented a talk on effects of conservation tax incentive programs on invasive species management. It was a great conference. Looking forward to next time ... |
